Jody N. Gothard has served as president of CareerPro Resumes since 1991, following a distinguished career in journalism.

After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in New Orleans, Mr. Gothard won multiple awards in journalism, created popular TV commercials, and wrote feature and cover stories for New Orleans Magazine, the Times-Picayune Newspaper, Atlanta’s Style Magazine, and SportsTravel. Mr. Gothard has spearheaded highly successful community fundraising initiatives headlined by the Mayor of New Orleans. He has been interviewed on television and radio talk shows including the Frank Ski Show. He has also motivated individuals to reclaim their connection to nature and spirituality as the former President of Mosaic Outdoor Club of Georgia, and has completed intensive workshops with world-renowned teachers. Within two months of being hired by CareerPro Resumes in Atlanta, Mr. Gothard advanced from employee to owner. Over the past three decades, Mr. Gothard has utilized his natural sales and advocacy abilities to help clients separate themselves from tens of thousands of competitors. Played key roles in the six consecutive successful election and re-election campaigns of Judge Sol Gothard, who has never lost an election and who most recently served as Senior Judge, Court of Appeal, 5th Circuit, State of Louisiana.

Judge Gothard (D), as an unknown New York native defeated four heavily backed democratic competitors to win the election for Juvenile Court Judge, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, with 71% of the vote. After two successful re-elections to Juvenile Court, Judge Gothard then won the election for Louisiana’s 5th Circuit Court of Appeal, again by 71%. In 2000, Judge Gothard won his second re-election in a heavily contested campaign for Court of Appeals by 61% against a Republican opponent in a 70% Republican district.
